What is the difference between fob price & c&f price in IMPORT & EXPORT ? REPLY WITH EXAMPLE?

Hi FOB means Freight on Board, however it is just the price of the goods and c%26amp;f is goods plus Freight. plus you also have CIF which means goods Plus Insurance plus Freight

Ex: what an invoice should look like generally

Description Unit Price Total

1. 500gb HardDrives 10Units $300 $3000

2. 250gb Hard Drives 10Units $120 $1200

3. 120gb Hard Drives 10Units $75 $750

-------------

Total FOB $4950

Total Freight $300

--------------------------------

Total CNF $5250

Well this is a very basic example, hope this help, email me if you have further questions.

FOB means Free on board.it means you pay get paid for it as soon as it is put on the truck.

CNF means Cost and Freight .means you pay the freight and deliver to the customer or the port of import
